Refund policy

We want you to love your Amstar hair tool. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it within 30 days of delivery for a refund or exchange, subject to the conditions below. Nothing in this Refund Policy limits your rights under the Consumer Act of the Philippines (RA 7394) in respect of defective goods.

How to Start a Return

  • Email amstar@groovyshop.ph, message us via the contact form, or call +63 962 993 3703 (Mon-Fri, 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM PHT).
  • Include your order number, the item you wish to return, and the reason for return.
  • We will review your request within one business day and send you return instructions and a return shipping label if your return is accepted.
  • Please do not send items back without contacting us first — unannounced returns cannot be processed.

Conditions for Return

To be eligible for a return, your item must be:

  • In the same condition you received it — unused, with all accessories, in its original packaging.
  • Accompanied by the receipt or proof of purchase.
  • Requested within 30 days of the delivery date.

Damaged, Defective, or Wrong Item

Please inspect your order upon receipt. If your item arrives damaged, is defective, or is not what you ordered, contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We will arrange a replacement or full refund (including return shipping) at no cost to you.

Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns of:

  • Items that have been used or show signs of wear.
  • Items returned without original packaging or accessories.
  • Sale or clearance items (unless faulty).
  • Gift cards.

Exchanges

The fastest way to get a different item is to request a return for refund and place a new order for the replacement. This avoids stock-availability delays.

Refund Process

  • Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you within 3 business days whether your refund has been approved.
  • Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method.
  • Credit card refunds typically post within 7-15 banking days. E-wallet (GCash, Maya) refunds usually post within 3-5 business days. Cash on Delivery orders are refunded via bank transfer or GCash; please provide your preferred account.

Warranty

All Amstar hair tools come with a 7-day replacement & 1-year limited manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. Warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, dropping, water immersion, or use with the wrong voltage.
